Coconut Crazy

Recently I had been looking for something I could use to deep condition my hair without hurting my wallet. After scrolling through Pinterest I discovered that many people were raving about this coconut oil stuff. Curious, I decided to investigate, and after reading up the many benefits of using it I was sold. I made a trip to  my local Walmart and bought myself a jar, I found it in the cooking section  (It was  super cheap). As soon as I got home I tried it out and immediately fell in love. Although I was a bit surprised by it's appearance. When below a certain temperature coconut oil turns into a solid but the heat from your hands easily melts it. Below I will be listing some of my  favorite uses for this oil.

1. Lotion - If you don't like scooping it out you can put some into a blender and it will turn into a lotion form and wont harden back up. If you want you could add scented essential oil!

2. Cuticle Creme

3. Deep Conditioner- Just massage into hair and let it sit for 15 minutes then wash your hair as normal, but I suggest using a bit more shampoo just to really get all the oil out.

4. Facial Moisturizer- I do this every night and it leaves my skin looking and feeling so smooth! I wouldn't suggest this for the daytime considering it is an oil, and although it doesn't clog your pores and does make your face very shiny.

5. Lip Balm- It has no taste and leaves you lips looking loft and shiny! An excellent replacement for gloss.

6. Eye Makeup Remover- I love using this oil to remove my makeup but I always follow up with Cetaphil just in case.

7. Shaving- All I do is rub the oil all over my legs and then shave. After, I follow up with more coconut oil! This make your legs so smooth! Be very careful though, if you do this in your tub or shower you may want to wipe it down so you wont slip. I had to learn that on my own, haha,

8. De-Frizzer- Just use a small amount and run your fingers through your hair. Not too much though, you don't want your hair to look greasy!

9. Cheekbone Highlighter

10. Under Eye Creme/ Wrinkle Preventer- We're young, lets protect our skin while we still can!

This isn't even a start to the list of uses there are for this magic oil, just a few of my favorites! I think this is definitely something every girl should own!
